Newcastle Panel Beaters

"Perfect every time"

During 2015 the Director of Newcastle Panel Beaters embarked on a trip to the Netherlands with 28 young and eager Hockey players to visit the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

It was during this time that Carel and Marinda Boshoff got to know Alice Pienaar better and form a strong bond with her.  Alice was at the time an orphan, living at Morester Children's Home in Newcastle and attended school at Amajuba High School.  Alice was a prefect and was busy with her final year, Grade 12.

It was clear that Alice had the potential to become a leader that can inspire others to be successful, despite any issues, some might use as an excuse to progress and reach their potential.

Alice has been sponsored to go to Holland by the Amajuba Rotary Club and Newcastle Panel Beaters.  During Alice's feedback and thank-you session at the Amajuba Rotary Club, Newcastle Panel Beaters decided to announce a scholarship for Alice to study via UNISA.  The scholarship includes all registration fees and study material for a Diploma in Higher Education, with an option to obtain a degree after successfully obtaining the diploma.

Alice has been granted admission to UNISA from January, 2017 and will start with her Diploma in January.

Newcastle Panel Beaters will follow Alice's studies closely and keep our clients and visitors to our website posted on her progress.
